Healing Hearts and Growing Minds

Holistic Care for Children and the Humans Who Love Them

Nurture. Heal. Educate. Explore.

“I think, at a child’s birth, if a mother could ask a fairy godmother to endow it with the most useful gift, that gift would be curiosity.”

—Eleanor Roosevelt

Where Childhood Is Honored

At 23 Cherry Tree Lane, childhood is honored, protected, and celebrated. We believe childhood is a sacred season of growth, wonder, and discovery. Our mission is to nurture the whole child through meaningful relationships, developmentally responsive learning, and environments that support emotional well-being and curiosity.

Rooted in research in human learning and development, early childhood education, and special education, we recognize that children learn best through play, exploration, connection, and discovery. Each child brings their own strengths, interests, and ways of understanding the world, and our role is to support that natural unfolding.

Guided by the principles of Nurture. Heal. Educate. Explore. We create spaces where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and creatively.

Tracy Rae Jackson is an early childhood educator and child development specialist with a degree in Human Learning and Development, with concentrations in Educational Psychology and Counseling and extensive coursework in Special Education and cultural development. She is continuing her professional training at the University of Georgia in the Birth through Kindergarten Special Education M.A.T. program, where she is preparing to support young children in inclusive learning environments and pursuing additional training in dyslexia and early literacy development.

Through 23 Cherry Tree Lane, Tracy brings together research-informed education, emotional development, and nature-based learning to nurture the whole child and support families in creating environments where children can thrive.

Why the Name 23 Cherry Tree Lane?

Some names carry a story.

23 Cherry Tree Lane is inspired by the beloved home from Mary Poppins, a story that captured my imagination when I was young. Mary Poppins was wise, kind, and wonderfully unconventional, someone who understood the magic of childhood and the importance of nurturing both wonder and growth. Like many children, I dreamed of being just like her one day.

The number 23 is a number that holds special meaning in my own life, so it became the “house number” on Cherry Tree Lane, a quiet way of weaving my own journey into a place inspired by imagination and care.

To me, 23 Cherry Tree Lane represents the spirit of childhood itself: a place where curiosity is welcomed, where learning and laughter live side by side, and where children are nurtured, supported, and encouraged to explore the world with open hearts and bright minds.

It is a small tribute to the belief that childhood should always hold a little wonder—and that the most meaningful work we can do is to help children grow in environments filled with warmth, kindness, and possibility.

It seems AI can really turn you into Mary Poppins- Just a little fun!

A Holistic Approach to Care & Connection

Ms. Tracy currently serves families throughout the Atlanta area as a newborn care specialist, nanny, private educator, and family support consultant. Her work centers on building strong, responsive relationships with children and families during the most formative years of development.

She is trained in holistic care for children from birth through early childhood and has completed professional training through Playmaker University, where she studied play as a tool for connection, co-regulation, emotional growth, and learning. Her approach emphasizes safety, respect, connection, and joy, creating environments where children feel secure, seen, and supported.

Ms. Tracy’s practice is grounded in relationship-centered, evidence-informed caregiving and a deep respect for the responsibility of working with young children and families.

Foundations in Evidence-Based Early Care

Ms. Tracy is experienced in a range of evidence-based infant and early childhood care practices, including:

  • Holistic newborn care

  • Sleep guidance and routines (including Moms on Call and Taking Cara Babies frameworks)

  • Baby-led weaning

  • Gentle and responsive parenting principles

  • Baby sign language

  • Respectful, developmentally appropriate caregiving

These practices are adapted thoughtfully to each child and family, recognizing that development is not one-size-fits-all.

Our work is guided by four principles:

Nurture. Heal. Educate. Explore.

Together, these pillars support children as they grow into confident, curious, and compassionate individuals.

The Four Pillars

Nurture

Children thrive in environments where they feel safe, seen, and valued. Nurturing relationships provide the foundation for healthy emotional and cognitive development.

At 23 Cherry Tree Lane, nurturing means creating responsive environments where children are supported through connection, empathy, and developmentally appropriate guidance. Through strong relationships and thoughtful caregiving, children build trust, confidence, and a sense of belonging.

Heal

Children experience and process the world through emotion, play, and connection. Supporting emotional well-being allows children to develop resilience, self-awareness, and healthy ways of expressing their feelings.

Our approach focuses on creating calm, supportive environments where children can build emotional regulation skills, develop confidence, and feel understood. Through play, nature, and nurturing relationships, children are supported as they grow emotionally and socially.

Educate

Learning in early childhood is driven by curiosity and discovery. Children develop knowledge and skills through hands-on experiences, meaningful interactions, and environments that encourage exploration.

With a background in human learning and development and special education, our approach recognizes that every child learns differently. By supporting literacy, problem-solving, and creative thinking, we help children build a strong foundation for lifelong learning.

Explore

Exploration is at the heart of childhood. When children have opportunities to investigate their surroundings, move freely, and engage with the natural world, they develop curiosity, creativity, and confidence.

Through outdoor experiences, sensory exploration, and nature-based learning, children are encouraged to observe, question, imagine, and discover. Exploration allows children to develop independence while deepening their connection to the world around them.
