With over 25 years of experience in homeschooling, early childhood education, and a deep commitment to supporting children’s growth, Tracy Jackson is passionate about nurturing the potential of every child. She is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Learning and Development. Her studies focused on counseling, educational psychology, reading instruction, special education, and cultural studies. Her strong academic foundation in the Science of Learning directly supports children with diverse learning styles, developmental needs, and family backgrounds.

Ms. Tracy’s professional journey has been shaped by extensive hands-on experience as a nanny, private educator, homeschool instructor, Holistic Newborn Care Specialist, and Early Childhood Development Specialist. Her work centers on individualized care, intentional learning, and building strong relationships with both children and families. She works closely with parents and caregivers to help them navigate developmental milestones, early learning, sleep routines, feeding transitions, school readiness, and the emotional and behavioral needs of young children. She specializes in creating customized learning plans and routines that foster early literacy, emotional well-being, confidence, and structured yet nurturing environments where children can thrive.

Her experience also extends into community education and program leadership through her work in the public library system. While serving with the Royston Public Library, Tracy planned outreach programs, organized Summer Reading initiatives, curated a diverse and accessible children’s collection, and helped foster a lifelong love of reading for children of all backgrounds. She was honored to serve on the committee for the Georgia Children’s Book Awards through the University of Georgia and helped secure funding for a children’s garden project that introduced families to gardening, beekeeping, outdoor learning, and culinary experiences using the produce they grew together

She is also an official Playmaker through the Life is Good Playmaker University, where she was trained to use the power of play to help children heal from trauma and overcome challenges. Ms. Tracy strongly believes in the therapeutic benefits of play and incorporates this philosophy into her work, helping children build resilience and emotional strength through play-based activities. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Birth through Five/Preschool Special Education at the University of Georgia, which will prepare her for teaching certification while deepening her expertise in inclusive early childhood education and literacy development.

She also has certifications and specialized training in nature-based and outdoor education through programs such as Growing Up WILD, Project Learning Tree, Project WET, Project WILD, and Flying WILD, further strengthening her passion for holistic and experiential learning.

Whether through private education, newborn care, community outreach, or program development, Tracy is driven by one clear purpose: to create meaningful, enriching spaces where children and families feel supported, empowered, and equipped to flourish. Her work reflects a lifelong commitment to nurturing the whole child through education, structure, connection, and care.
