With over 25 years of experience in homeschooling, early childhood education, and a deep commitment to supporting children’s growth, Ms. Tracy is passionate about nurturing the potential of every child. She is a graduate of Georgia State University, where she earned a Bachelor of Interdisciplinary Studies in Human Learning and Development. Her studies focused on counseling, educational psychology, and reading instruction, and also included coursework in special education and cultural studies, further expanding her understanding of how to support children from diverse backgrounds and learning needs.

Ms. Tracy’s educational journey has been shaped by her broad hands-on experience, including working as a nanny, private educator, and newborn care specialist (NCS). Her focus on individualized care and teaching allows her to create customized learning plans that support each child’s unique needs, whether it’s developing early literacy skills, fostering emotional well-being, or creating a nurturing, structured environment.

Her work extends beyond private education and caregiving. Ms. Tracy has also worked with children in the public library system, where she planned outreach programs, organized Summer Reading initiatives, and maintained a diverse and accessible selection of children’s books. This experience allowed her to directly impact literacy and community engagement, helping to foster a lifelong love of reading in children of all backgrounds. During her time with the Royston Public Library, she was honored to serve on the committee for the Georgia Children’s Book Awards through the University of Georgia. She also helped to secure a grant for a children’s garden. This enabled children in the community to learn about gardening, beekeeping, and culinary skills using the produce they had grown.

These experiences, combined with her ongoing commitment to professional development, continue to shape Ms. Tracy’s approach to supporting children and families through education, play, and therapeutic learning environments.

In the near future, Ms. Tracy plans to pursue a Master’s in Social Work to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and a Registered Play Therapist (RPT). Whether through one-on-one sessions, educational programs, or community outreach, Ms. Tracy is driven by a singular goal: to empower every child and family with the resources, tools, and support they need to thrive. Her dedication to creating positive and meaningful learning experiences ensures that every child she works with is seen, heard, and supported as they grow and develop.

Imagine what our neighborhoods would be like if each of us offered, as a matter of course, just one kind word to another person.
